Description
An Easter 1980 gift made for Kathryn by her roommate and best friend during captivity, Elizabeth “Ann” Swift. The wooden cross was affixed to the rock with chewing gum. Ann told Kathryn she spoke so often of God as a rock, and so the cross became the center of the women’s worship area for the remainder of their captivity.
